Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æ and Bute Council has unveiled a package of new funding measures and specialist help to support local businesses.
A combination of business grants and free expert advice will deliver vital support for local businesses across Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æ and Bute. The programme is funded by the UK Government under the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Coordinated by the council’s Business Gateway Team, grants and specialist help includes:
- Small Business Development Grant of up to £5,000
- Business Start-up Grant of up to £500
- Trade Fair, Training or Accreditation Grant of up to £1,000
- Fully funded expert help half a day to two days of support from a subject specialist
- Intensive Support Programme focused on exploiting business opportunities and building resilience

The £450,000 programme of support, running over two years, builds on the success of previous council programmes that have helped deliver growth to hundreds of local businesses.
